Firstly I’d like to thank all the donors for July’s donations. We received a total of 148usd which is double the usual amount. I would say that this is fantastic however it still short of our target of 250usd. Every single penny from the donation pays the bandwith costs and our bandwith usage on average is 9000gb a month

I guess you should really start working out on populating your site on a new layout where it allows you to place ads to boost your income because let’s face it, if you’ll just rely on donations there aren’t really too many that can donate, at least if you have ads, that’s another source of incomes for your monthly fees.

regardless if its adsense or adbrite (am using adbrite) all you have to do is to filter the targetede ads, but it will narrow down of course the ads to be displayed, this will in a way depreciate the ads being displayed on your site. say for example, travel, vacations, hotel, IT are the much applauded on the ads

@hethler, we’ve tried adsense and our account gets canceled due to the fact that we’ve been generating clicks. Its quite obvious that some clicks comes from the same IP.
I think we should try adbrite ^^ Thanks for the suggestion though

exactly, am running a blog which offers free bleach, d.gray-man, shippuuden, downloads plus full album downloads and tv series and when they found out that am earning very well through clicks and ads display they cancelled my account saying that i violated some of their rule, i have nothing against that, but its kind of smells fishy because there’s a tons of anime blogs, they offer their downloads thru paid accounts, i guess with paid account your pushing your visitor away while with free its an open source, so i just concluded that they cancelled my account because am earning very well, that’s why i shifted to adbrite and its good, less hassle and more flexible, you sould try it out. and then i recently discovered boontan which blown my world.

starfield, I don’t think adsense will work here, many animes hosted on this website violate adsense’s rules.
