Ok, Akane-iro ni Somaru Saka. Let’s see, the Seiyuus (voice actors) include Kugimiya Rie (Tsundere Queen), Hirano Aya (Uh, Haruhi? XD), Katou Emiri (Hiiragi Kagami from Lucky Star), Hazuki Erino (Mizunashi Akari from ARIA), Inoue Marina (Yoko from Gurren Lagann), Hirohashi Ryou (Alice Carroll from ARIA), Fukuhara Kaori (Hiiragi Tsukasa from Lucky Star), Koyama Rikiya (Shinigami-sama from Soul Eater), and my most-est, favorite-est, Tanaka Rie too (Chii~). I’m totally sold, and will watch it til the end even if it rains meteors half the story and repeats recycled scenes for 15 minutes of each episode.
For me it even tops Clannad ~After Story~ because Tanaka Rie is just too awesome. Oh, did I mention After Story is out too? ^__^;; It’s Hitode mode time!
Another example of a Rierie win. Toradora, Tanaka Rie, Oohara Sayaka (Only my 2nd most-est, favorite-est seiyuu), Kugimiya Rie. Pure Win. See? It’s not too hard to calculate. XD Horie Yui’s in there too. Anyway, seems highly anticipated, should be good too. (it’s got Rierie and Sakaya in it how can it be bad?)
Hirano Aya is also busy with another new project, titled Hyakko. It’s also got Horie Yui in it, so should be alright. Don’t recognize the other seiyuus in the cast.
All 4 new series have seiyuus that I like in them. Needless to say, all in my watch list, as it’s too powerful a geass to dispell. Have an awesome weekend, let’s go meet the new series’ shall we?

impressive! me thinks bt.net is the first to offer the new Fall 2008 series Akane-iro and Hyakko for ddl. so far didn’t even see them out on torrents yet. way to go!

OMG, Tanaka Rie’s voicing of Yuri-sensei in Toradora is co cute! Toradora is another “can’t miss” series this season.

tbh BT ism much better it got most series very fast but i still think black/star is holding a site behind there hands cause they got it sometimes even faster then toshokan >.< btw toradora gonna be 100% win :P so muhc ZnT but then better :)

Whaddya mean, Clannad ‘After’ Story? They left at least three plot threads hanging the first time; not that I care, I didn’t think much of it. Boontan doesn’t have to be the only ones updating this fast to be great, you know-just one of them. And I have to say, who the seiyuus are doesn’t seem like a very good way to judge an anime to me. The actors are just a medium; they can help, but it’s the story that carries the day. There’s a quote from Hitchcock, one of the greatest directors of all time, when asked what he likes in his actors. ‘Well, I like them to have two eyes, and a nose if possible…’ he knew it was what he did that made the biggest difference. Shakugan no Shana and ZnT share quite a few voice actors, and I wouldn’t even begin to compare them.

Still have not watch Clannad… Not very high on my watch list yet.
While I agree that judging animes based on seiyuus is really (sorta) unfair, but for me, it provides a simple way for me to sift through all the animes out there (old and new) and and decide on what to watch. Usually the seiyuus have their own unique-ish role when they voice the characters, so you know what kind of characters to expect in the anime (ie, Kugimiya Rie = Tsundere chara, Tanaka Rie = something I definitely will like no matter the role). And if there are many top names in there (especially if you like them), then you know that there’s a big-ish budget for the show with some (a lot maybe) of thought put into it, and at least even if the show sucked, the sound/voicing would not (to a certain extent).
Toradora! seems to be carrying on the tradition of Louise’s “Baka-inu!”, but hopefully with much better plot this time. Really looking forward to more Toradora!.

Well, I always thought the premise for ZnT could have been used for a real, properly plotted anime - I always wait till a series is finished to try it, so we’ll see about Toradora. In the meantime, Allison to Lillia is living up wonderfully; what gorgeous animation! And Allison is a great characters. Love her already.
