could someone tell me who has been putting up updates on the wrong date? because from time to time i see things like the 28th, updates added when its the 31st.

Why are you going with the Coalguys release of Akikan? I’ve reead that Chihiro’s releases are far closer to the original in terms of translation.
EDIT: Chihiro’s release is higher resolution too. I thought you guys were all about HD over SD?

No offense, I like their work too, but it seems that the coalguys’ one is better. Either on AniDB.net or here coal is winning in terms of positive feedback.

Where are these comments saying CG is better than Chihiro?
I actually decided to go with Chihiro’s release based on the comments I read on AniDB. I’ve never been to Chihiro’s chan either.

In the previous news… They’re not that hard to find, aren’t they? Sample: “seriously, I’d leave out chihiro if there are other better groups. Maria+Holic is gg, definitely. Coalguys for Asu is quite reasonable. Take Bandaiatv for Kurokami, its in HD. As for Zoku, all of them seems decent.”
Now:
1-that comment;
2-my own experience;
3-the fact that when you add all the total votes (I admit the quoted comment is the biggest one against the Chihiro releases, but I’ve taken every comment in consideration for the results, including the positive ones) of the members about each series, Chihiro is still left behind on every single show;
4-the average rating on AniDB is far greater for CG (while the number of the votes is the same).
Those are the reasons why we won’t stick with Chihiro releases.
And what comment did you speak about? The only serious comment I’ve read on AniDB is a comment where the guy says in conclusion that he’ll take another team firstly (the one with translation comparisons)…
