There will be network maintenance going on at our datacenter on the 30th of June, 11pm - 4am CST. There might be some downtime happening which is beyond my control, so brace yourselves, mina-san.

Soul Eater 12!! It’s up here now. Yay, witchies episode. =D Currently my top favorite anime, don’t miss it!

There’s a new addition to the anime list, say hello to Gintama. =) Ikkitousen Great Guardians SD 03 by Chihiro is here too. And more Kirarin Rev.

I just watched Kara no Kyoukai. Shiki was so cute at the end of episode 01. Plus Sakamoto Maaya is VA-ing Shiki. X3 And Tanaka Rie with her dark-side voice FTW! T_T Omg, I’m glad I finally watch it.. XD The fight scenes are so beautifully done.. Not to mention the pretty soundtrack by Kajiura Yuki, fits the mood so well, it’s a little scary. lol. Halfway through episode 02 now. Lotsa blood. >=D

PS: Damn there’s no HD version of Kara no Kyoukai yet… T_T It’s so sad seeing them beautiful scenes spoilt by them pixelating pixels. XD Gets me a little irritated. I need HD! HD ftw! Now anxiously waiting for episode 03..

PS 2: SD Macross Frontier is up, but I myself will be holding back for the HD. :P And here a few other mini updates too.

Ok, for the moment it’s pretty much done. If I’m going to test anymore stuff I’ll do it on sample files… I’ve learn my lesson.

So, this pretty much is all. Boontan.net is back in action. Banzai! d^_^

Anyway, I’ve taken down the forums, since it’s pretty much dead. So in its place, there’s the comments section and the chatbox, which are both already there anyway. No point leaving it there if no one is going to use it.

However, if you guys prefer the forum, I can put it back up. Express your opinion in the comments if you will.

And a big Otsukaresama to myself. Heh.

Ok, I’ve disabled the downloads for the mean time, since they were causing the some pain to the server, crashing it very fast.

So, I’m now rewriting the download script in the hopes that it will solve this problem.

I will make another announcement once it’s done.

UPDATE: The animes are up for the mean time, testing out the new download script. Please go ahead and download! XD

Resume (finally!) working! v^_^

Just a recap of what I added in starfi3ld’s previous post.

“Resume is working, you can now paste the links in your download managers, if you use more than 2 connections it will not work, and you have 60 seconds to start the download before it timeouts. If you need to resume, don’t forget to refresh the page to get a new link. So, have fun. ;)”

So here’s a summary.

- Resume fixed
- 2 connections per IP
- 60 seconds link timeout
- Works with download managers

There’s apply to all the public and donators’ animes. So rejoice!

For once!! I made something work… T_T The site loads fast like swiss cheese now and I have tons more to do tomorrow. >_>

For now, let me sleep. Night, all you soon-to-be-leechers. XD

Please leave comments on how fast (or slow) the site loads now compared to the past few days/weeks (the pre-reformatted state).

UPDATE: So what happened yesterday was, I reformatted the server again. =D And learning from my mistakes. If you’ve been exercising your fingers by mashing cmd + R or F5, you’ll notice there’s some animes there. If the connection cuts off, it’s probably cause I restarted the server.. I’m still not done fine-tuning the server. >_< UPDATE 2:Um, I screwed up some firewall settings, but it’s all ok now. Enjoy. O_o Old animes on the way back… *YAWN* Damn I’m tired..

Ok, I’ve been busy this whole day. Doing some stuff. Stuff that you might be interested in. >=D

First, the site’s theme has been updated. It looks the same, works the same. However, those using IE should notice that it (should) works fine now. It still looks ugly, so please oh please just download and install Firefox or Safari if you are able to. (I only tested on XP with Parallels, too lazy to reboot into Vista just to check a page.. Anything less than XP, you’re on your own.)

Second, the background has also been cleaned by kono ore-sama. There were some grey stripes on the previous one, but I doubt anyone besides me noticed and was bothered by it anyway…

Next, upgraded some of the software on the server, nothing big. Hopefully things run a little more smoothly. Carrying on…

Yay, I’ve added polls to the site! Now it’ll be easier for you guys to vote when I ask you which sub is nicer. Here’s one for starters.

The new wordpress broke many plugins… So bye bye polls for now… =\

Waaaaaaaaaait…… If there are animes to vote for, there must be animes to watch first, right? =O

Oh, I suppose I forgot to mention that I’ve added back the animes section. XD However! There’s only a select few animes I’ve put up for grabs. Just to test whether the server can handle it. Let’s see how it goes first.
